Mission Beach Functions
The Elandra can provide functions for 2 – 200 people. From weddings to conferences The Elandra provides the ideal backdrop for your next function.
Ceremony
There are many options to stage your ceremony:
• The Point – We have a beautiful grassed area on ‘the point’ with dynamic views over the coral sea where we can set up an archway, chairs for your guests, an aisle for your entrance, sound system for music of your choice, table and chairs for the registry signing.
• Poolside - again with views of the coral sea, the pool deck can be an alternative venue with a resort atmosphere both relaxing and picturesque
• The beach - ‘lovers beach’ (appropriately named!) or south mission beach can also be set up for your ceremony
Reception
Receptions can be staged in the following spaces:
• Panorama room - A large private dining area with its own balcony, seats 50 – 100 people (standing 150). This room is adjacent to the grassed ceremony area (the Point) and features both a balcony with views over the ocean and a courtyard area, ideal for pre dinner drinks for your guests whilst your wedding photos are taken.
• Poolside - The pool is a less formal setting (subject to the weather) set up with tables and chairs to 150 pax seated and 250 standing
• Pavilion - This small intimate private dining room is stunning and seats up to 30 people (stands up to 60 with extended area) with a romantic chandelier and amazing rainforest meets ocean views.

We have excellent local creative designers, who have packaged the above ‘looks’ ie: chair covers, flowers, place cards and table setting decorations.
Weddings for Couples

'Weddings for couples’ prices can be obtained for this unique package and include:
• Celebrant fees, Marriage License & Certificate

Honeymooners
After the big day, welcome to our tropical honeymoon haven! Spend your days strolling along deserted beaches or cruising to some of the most pristine sections of the Great Barrier Reef.
If total indulgence, seclusion and romance are what you are dreaming of, this is the perfect location for you.
Tropical honeymoon packages include wine and cheese plate on arrival, dinner for 2 in our fabulous restaurant, full breakfast daily and a special chef’s choice dinner for 2 under the stars on your own private balcony.
In addition to weddings, we also specialize in corporate functions and incentive groups
Conference Rooms
• Panorama room - Our main conference room is situated away from the main resort complex giving total privacy and seclusion from other guests. Perched on The Point, you can look out towards the Coral Sea and soak up the stunning, unspoiled beauty of Bedarra Island.
This fully air-conditioned room can comfortably seat 60 banquet style, 100 theater style and 40 classroom style, and can be themed to suit any occasion. All conferences are set with iced water, mints, pens and paper.
• Pavilion - our stunning pavilion is suitable for sit down 30 pax and is ideal for breakaway dining areas during conferences or smaller groups. The room has bi-folding doors and gives the feeling you are sitting right in the midst of nature and the rainforest. This room is ideal for breakfasts and not to mention stand up post conference cocktail parties for a different view and atmosphere from the main conference room.
• Meeting room – Elandra has many different rooms, large, medium and small. Any rooms can be converted into a meeting room suitable for groups up to 10 pax.
This again provides an ideal backdrop with rainforest and sea views.
AV Equipment
The Elandra has recently upgraded all function facilities including AV equipment. As part of the function hire, data projector, projection wall, flip chart, lectern with microphone & built in sound system. Any additional sound or video conferencing equipment can be obtained (price on application).

Not only can we stage your actual conference in paradise, but the pre and post touring opportunities in Mission Beach are only limited by your imagination! Whether you are organising an official pre or port tour for your group, or providing ideas and recommendations for your delegates to tour independently, The Elandra has something for everyone.
Catering
The Elandra is able to provide food & beverage packages to suit your event and enables flexibility to create a catering option especially for you.
Any of the above function spaces can be utilized and breakfast can be served in the restaurant or you may wish to host a corporate breakfast in our private dining room.
Morning and afternoon tea can be served on the panorama room balcony, giving you guests the chance to enjoy the fresh air before returning to their function or conference.
For conferences, lunches can either be a working lunch in the conference room, on the balcony or we can provide a number of other various venues throughout the property.
Conferences and function dinners can be as informal as you wish. They can be especially themed for your guests or company with entertainment and music, or a cocktail party, themed with our team of chefs personalizing menus incorporating all dietary requirements.
